Project Concept and Purposes:

The principal idea behind this project is to create a single market platform for wholesale suppliers and consumers of food products in the Moscow region, as well as a trading platform for transparent wholesale market. The project will contribute to the establishment of direct contacts between the farmers and the end consumer. The market will be comprised of facilities for long-term storage, processing and pre-sale preparation of agricultural products, also it will provide logistics services and ensure cash and carry and large-scale wholesale trading. This food platform will cover the needs of Moscow City and Moscow Oblast with the population of more than 19 million people (13% of Russia’s population) and the surface of48,400 km².Its location close to DomodedovoAirport and high transport accessibility will be the main advantages of this wholesale food platform.

SETEC ING Assignment:

- development of a preliminary masterplan;
