The three underground levels are occupied by anchor stores, luxury boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants and offices. The third level has a car parking, coffee-bars, restaurants and shops.
Modernization design of two existing highways (М2 Moscow — Serpukhov and М4 Moscow — Kashira) with the purpose of their transfer to concession and operation as toll roads.
The Moscow – Saint-Petersburg highway is the first Russian national highway with its several segments to be constructed under the concession agreement. Segment No 1 which is 1.43 km long joins the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD). The road mainly serves Sheremetyevo Airport and the town of Zelenograd.
The cable-stayed bridge across the KorabelnyFairway connects the banks of the Neva estuary and constitutes a part of the Western Speed Diameter, the motorway of the future. This is a 620 long three-span cable-stayed bridge. The spans are 150m, 320 m and 150m long respectively. The distance between the cables is 18 m. The 39 m wide deck has a combined structure and consists of the longitudinal metal beams which are 2.5 m high and a concrete slab which is 25 cm thick. The height of the main pylons is 125 m above sea level.
Bridge length – 760 m, span breakdown 156+168+3×144, width – 20 m.
The bridge clearance on the Sea Channel is 100х52m, which is the main factor determining the length of the spans.
Type of the bridge spans: steel trusses with parallel chords, diagonals represented by cross elements and orthotropic plate of the upper and lower deck. The distance between the axes of the decks is 20.4 m.
The piers are reinforced concrete Y-shape poles with widening caps. The piers are empty with the stairs inside.
Pier foundations are based on pressure-injected piles of ø 1500 mm bound together by a reinforced concrete monolithic pile cap. The piers standing in water will be protected from the impact of currents and ice.
Length of the bridge – 580 m. Cable-stayed bridge with reinforced concrete spans 60+110+240+110+60m long, respectively.
Height above the water level – 25m , span width between the piers – 166 m.
The cross-section of the stiffening girder consists of four main steel I-beams 1,760 mm high located under the road way at the distance of 20.1 m from each other and at the distance of 5.6 m on the dividing strip. The main beams are interconnected by transverse beams and diaphragms with the pace of 6.5 m along the bridge. Additional ledgers are installed with a pace of 3.35 m to assure the required dimensions of the concrete slabs.
Protective engineering structures assure the safety of the bridge in case of berthing impact. The protective engineering structures are designed taking their safe exploitation into consideration in case of ice effects.
Deck dimensions – 2,0+2х3,75+2х3,5+1,0). The deck will consist of 8 lanes (four lanes in each direction)and two-side operating aisles0.75 m wide.
