SETEC ING Assignment:
• Assess the sufficiency of the basis and input data for the development of Design Documentation
• Assess the feasibility of various alignment alternatives and the estimated right-of-way lines of the Motorway
• Assess the feasibility, sufficiency, completeness and relevancy of the main design solutions
• Assess the activities aimed at the fulfillment of the road traffic safety requirements
• Assess the feasibility and sufficiency of activities envisaged for the management of construction impact on the social and environmental situationin the alignment area
• Assess the sufficiency of input data for determination of the cost of the Motorway construction and operation
Project Characteristics:
The following two sections of Phase 1 have been defined within the technology and cost audit of the design documentation:
• section 1– from road interchange No 7 to road interchange No 26;
• section 2– from road interchange No 26 to road interchange No 10.
Each of these sections will be implemented in two phases; the first construction phase is to include a 4-lane motorway and traffic interchanges with major roads crossed by this motorway. The second phase will be comprised of the motorway expansion up to 6 lanes and construction of additional slip roads in order to form the designed traffic interchanges in those places where viaducts would be built during the first construction phase.
